No Time to See Kagan's Paper Trail
As Byron York pointed out last week, Elena Kagan has a long paper trail from her two years in the Clinton White House Counsel's Office. In 2005, minority Democrats were able to see the papers that Roberts had written while serving in the Reagan White House in the 1980s. But the Democrats have set a hearing date too soon for the Senate to see Kagan's. A Clinton library official says it would be very difficult to meet the deadline. (hat tip Ed Whelan)
